11 Ways to describe a match:

1. Did you watch the match yesterday? I was on the edge of my seat watching it!
کیا تم نے کل کا میچ دیکھا ؟ میں بہت پرجوش تھا !

'On the edge of one's seat' means: very excited and giving one's full attention to something.

2. He is a match winner! He is the most dependable batsman in the team right now. 
وہ میچ جتانے والا کھلاڑی ہے ۔ وہ فل وقت  سب سے بھروسہ مند بیٹسمین ہے ٹیم میں 

3. We had a whale of a time at the club. The match was so exciting!ہم نے بہت اچھا وقت گزارا کلب  میچ بہت جوش سے بھرا تھا 

'Whale of a time' means: You have a great time and really enjoy yourself.

4. You never know when the tables turn in a match! It was full of suspense till the last ball.
کب تختہ پلٹ جاتا ہے میچ میں آب بول نہیں سکتے ہو ۔ آخری گیند تک میچ بہت مشکوک تھا 

5.  I was on cloud 9 after India won the match. 
میں بے انتہا خوش تھا انڈیا میچ جیتنے پر 
'On cloud 9' means: a feeling of extreme happiness.

6. The match had a nail biting finish. I could hear my heart pump. 
میچ کا اختام بہت ہی دلچسپ تھا ۔ میں خود کے دل کی دھڑکن سن پا رہا تھا ۔ 

'Nail biter' means: something (such as a game or movie) that causes people to feel nervous because the ending is not known until the final moment

7. His innings were a beauty! Take a bow!
اسکا کھیل بہت خوبصورت تھا۔ اسے تھالیاں ملنی چاہئے 

'Take a bow' means: to acknowledge or receive applause or praise

When a match becomes dull, you can say:

8. "It was about as exciting as watching paint dry."

Something that is very, very boring can be described as about as exciting as watching paint dry.

9. "It was like watching grass grow."

This is used to describe something that is very uninteresting.

'Stand a chance' means: to have the possibility of being successful

11. The match became very dull as we came closer to end.
