9 phrases used to talk on the phone:

1. May I know who is calling? - This is a polite way to ask the name of the caller.
کیا میں جان سکتا ہوں کون بات کر رہے ہیں؟ یہ کسی سے انکا نام پوچھنے کا  مہذب طریقہ ہوتا ہے 

2. I'd like to speak to... - Use this phrase to give the name of the person you want to speak to.
میں بات کرنا چاہتا ہوں ... یہ جملہ استمعال کریں کسی کا نام بلا کر  بات کرنے کے لئے 

3. Speaking - If you say "I'd like to speak to Seema" and she is the one who answered the phone, she would reply "Speaking!", meaning 'This is Radha speaking'.
بول رہا/رہی  ہوں - اگرآپ نے کہا ' مجھے سیما سے بات کرنا ہے ' اور وہ ہی بات کر رہی ہے تو وہ بولےگی 'بول رہی ہوں' جسکا مطلب ہے 'میں سیما بول رہی ہوں' 

4. I'm sorry, the line's busy - This means that the person is talking to someone else and the line is occupied.
معاف کیجئے، لائن مصروف ہے - اسکا مطلب ہے کی وہ شخص کسی اور سے بات کر رہا ہے اور لائن مشغول ہے 

5. Would you mind holding on for a minute? - If the line is busy, you should ask if the caller is willing to wait for a few moments.
آپ ایک منٹ کے لئے روک سکتے ہیں؟ - اگر لائن مصروف ہے ، تو آپ کو فون کرنے والے سے  پوچھنا چاہئے کہ وہ  چند لمحات کے لئے انتظار کرنے کے لئے تیار ہے 

6. Would you like to leave a message? - If the person you wish to speak to is unavailable, the person answering the phone can offer to take a message (write down the message) for the caller.
کیا آپ ایک پیغام چھوڑنا چاہتے ہیں؟ - آپ جس سے بات کرنا چاہتے ہیں اگر وہ شخص دستیاب نہیں ہے تو ، فون کو جواب دینے والا  شخص (پیغام کو لکھ  کر ) فون کرنے والے کے لئے ایک پیغام لکھ لینے  کی پیشکش کر سکتے ہیں .

7. Could you spell your name please? - When taking a message, you should check that the name is spelled correctly.
کیا آپ اپنے نام کے ہجے کر سکتے ہیں ؟ - جب آپ  ایک پیغام لے رہے ہوں  ، آپ کو چیک کرنا چاہئے کہ نام کے ہجے درست ہے .

8. I'll put you through to his office - Another way to say this is I'll connect your call.
میں آپ کو انکے آفس سے رابطہ کرتا ہوں- ایک دوسرا طریقہ ہے کسی  کی کال کو کنیکٹ کرنے کے لئے 

9. Sorry, you've dialed the wrong number - You might hear this if you make a mistake and get through to the wrong person.
معذرت چاہتا ہوں ، آپ نے غلط نمبر ملایا ہے- اگر آپ نے غلط ملایا ہو تو آپ یہ سن سکتے ہیں
